Can I order from you online?
Our goal in making this wonderful alcove of Dungeons and Dragons items is so that you can browse through everything, and experience the long forgotten feeling of a Hobby Shop of the 1970’s/1980’s/1990’s. We work hard to bring lots of new books, boxed sets, items and magazines to our little alcove so you can enjoy browsing through everything. Walking into a D&D bookstore is one of those small, grounding experiences that online shopping can’t quite imitate. Buying a book online is convenient, sure, but visiting a bookstore in person gives you something deeper, something more human… or elf… or dwarf…or halfing… etc.
An antique bookstore is a place where time slows down. You wander through shelves you didn’t plan to explore, pick up titles you’ve never heard of, and stumble into modules you didn’t know you needed. That kind of serendipity doesn’t happen when you’re scrolling through an algorithm’s recommendations. In a physical shop, discovery feels organic, almost intimate. There’s also the atmosphere, the sense that you’re surrounded by actual Dungeons and Dragons books. Online, a book is a simply a product number. In a bookstore, it’s a doorway. Finally, your buying in person also keeps these spaces like ours alive, when you make the decision to choose our physical bookstore over a digital cart, you’re helping preserve a cultural heartbeat.
Thus, if there is a very specific unique or rare item that we have online for sale with a price, we may be able assist in getting that item to you via shipping, however, whenever possible, we please ask you kindly plan a side quest to our location.
Is this a small business?
Yes, we are a very small business and really appreciate your support. We might go as far to say that we are a micro niche-business who is trying to help develop the bookstores of yesterday in this modern day world. We appreciate each and every sale, and your support allows us to continue to grow and expand to offer more D&D books and collectables. The Dungeons & Dragons books or dice you purchase from us isn’t just a gaming accessory, think of it as a tiny piece of magic you hold in your hand. When you buy that magic from a local mom‑and‑pop type of shop like ours, you’re doing something that goes far beyond rolling a d20. You are helping keep a real place alive, and from an owner that actually cares about the D&D campaign you’re running. Our hope is that our small shop can be a place where new players discover the hobby, where friendships could form, or where a long time player can experience the feeling of a bookstore from many decades ago. Every purchase you make helps keep our heartbeat going.
